First tractor overhaul

In the first inspection of the tractor, we got our first impressions of this model, which incorporates the latest advances in the category of mini tractors up to 700 kg.

The tractor is now more robust and has less vibration thanks to a stronger load-bearing frame. The long-awaited track adjustment function has been added, allowing the wheelbase to be modified from 105 to 140 cm. This makes the Scout mini tractor ideal for both gardens with frequently growing trees and for potato cultivation, where planting, row maintenance and harvesting are optimised to the maximum width of 140 cm.

Among the disadvantages, the rear wings are not adjustable in width, and by reducing the width of the rear wheels, the hub does not decrease in size.

The mini tractor is now equipped with a hydraulic pump with a two-channel hydraulic distributor. What does this mean? Previously, when installing front attachments such as a mower or snow shovel, it was necessary to change the hydraulic hoses from the rear to the front, which was inconvenient and required monitoring the hydraulic oil level. Now, with the hoses pre-installed on the front hinge, this problem virtually disappears. It is only necessary to disconnect the hinge and, if required, attach it to the adjustable bracket (previously fixed on the frame, now adjustable on two axles). This allows for optimal alignment of the front attachments, eliminating problems such as belt tilt due to pulley misalignments.

In addition, the engine now features a five-speed pulley, so there is no need to disassemble the bonnet to install the mower. Compatibility for using front and rear implements simultaneously has also been improved.

Instrument Panel Improvements

The warning system on the dashboard has been completely overhauled. Previously, the coolant temperature and oil pressure sensors only indicated whether the engine was in a normal or critical state. Now, the temperature is accurately displayed in degrees Celsius and the pressure in kg/cm³ (approx. 1 bar). However, an engine hour meter is still missing for more accurate planned maintenance.

Another small but important adjustment is the relocation of the oil drain plug in the crankcase tray, making it easier to drain the oil. In addition, the ammeter has been modernized, moving from mechanical to electronic and being relocated to a more accessible position.

Tractor registration: yes or no?

When you purchase an Allian Tractor, you will receive all the necessary documentation for registration. Should I register it? It depends on its use.

Registering the tractor in China involves paying transport taxes and obtaining a tractor operator’s license, without which it is not possible to obtain official license plates. However, many Scout owners rarely drive on public roads.

On the other hand, having the registration avoids problems with traffic authorities and ensures that it can legally circulate on rural roads. The tractor is equipped with long and short-range headlights, turn signals and horn, complying with road safety requirements.

Innovations for more efficient work

The mini-tractor model now incorporates a hydraulic distributor with floating mode, which significantly improves the use of attachments such as the double mouldboard plough and the active milling machine (included in the kit).

Previously, the operator had to constantly monitor the depth of the plow and adjust the hinge with each change in the terrain. Now, this problem has been solved. Simply set the depth on the adjustment wheels, activate the floating mode and the implement will work autonomously, maintaining the optimal depth without the need for constant supervision.

Floating mode is available on all newly manufactured mini tractors. To activate it, the hydraulic cylinder must be fully extended (keeping the lever in the lower position), allowing the oil to return to the tank. Then, the clutch pedal is pressed and the cylinder is lowered to its lowest position. At this point, the cylinder enters free mode, and the implements operate under their own weight, optimizing work without additional effort on the part of the operator
